We invite you to join us in Lansing, Mich., Nov. 10, 2010, for the 30th Annual HPS Conference and Trade Show! This one-of-a-kind event brings together HPS members and business partners from around the country to exchange ideas and debut new products and services. HPS proudly services almost 3,000 organizations throughout the Great Lakes region, central, and southern states. As an approved HPS vendor, you are invited to lend members your expertise and show them how they can save money, time, and resources.


The HPS event is one of the largest group purchasing shows in the Midwest that caters to health care, educational, and governmental organizations. The show is certain to attract a captive audience with decision-making authority generating qualified leads and sales for your company.

First Time Exhibitor Orientation

Welcome to our neighborhood! If this is your first time passing by, drop in on our exhibitor orientation. Here you will become acquainted with show logistics, get answers to any questions you may have regarding the show, and maybe gain a little insight from veteran exhibitors. The date and time are TBD, so check back often for updates.


Certificate of Liability

This year the HPS conference and trade show will require a liability insurance certificate with HPS named as "additionally insured" from each exhibitor attending. Please fax your certificate to Kendra Tossava, (269) 795-9788, or mail it to her attention: 3275 N. M-37 Highway, Middleville, MI 49333. Exhibit Hall Layout

This year, instead of rows, booths will be placed in pods with an inner and outer circle to promote a smoother flow of traffic. Click here for a copy of the exhibit hall layout (.pdf).


Enhanced Exhibitor Schedule

No seminars will be held during exhibit hours. This gives exhibitors every opportunity to meet face-to-face with attendees during the show.


In addition to Tues., Nov. 9, 2010, exhibitor move-in will take place Wed., Nov. 10, 2010, from 7:30 - 10:30 a.m. All setup MUST be complete by 10:30 a.m.

Exhibit Hall Information

Rental fee

  • One 10’ x 10’ booth space: $450 if registered on or before August 27, 2010 ($500 after)
  • Two 10’ x 10’ booth spaces: $775 if registered on or before August, 2010 ($825 after)
  • Lunch ticket $35 (Two tickets are included in booth rental fee.)

Services included in booth rental: 10’ x 10’ draped exhibit booth with 8’ high backs and 3’ high sides; one 2’ x 6’ covered and skirted display table; two chairs; one waste basket; one 7” x 44” one-line booth identification sign; fully carpeted exhibit hall; an opportunity to attend the keynote session at no charge; listing in the 2010 conference brochure and program booklet; listing in pre-conference material mailed to HPS members; an updated copy of the HPS membership directory; mailing labels of all HPS attendees, if requested; and two complimentary lunch tickets for exhibit staff.


How can I win a FREE booth for 2011?

Team up to feed the hungry! For the eleventh consecutive year, HPS is partnering with the Michigan Harvest Gathering to help the Food Bank Council of Michigan and its member food banks feed the hungry in Michigan’s communities. Last year, the HPS staff, members and vendors contributed over 800 pounds of food to the cause. Bring any nonperishable food item to the HPS conference and trade show, and your donation will help feed the hungry this fall and holiday season. For each item that you bring, your name will be entered into a drawing for a free booth in 2011! You will also receive one ticket for every $1 you donate.


Exhibit Services Provider

Information pertaining to shipping displays and requesting additional tables, decorations and other related services will be handled by Art Craft Display, (800) 878-0710. The necessary order forms will be provided to you in your exhibitor kit. You will be notified by mail when the kit is available online through www.artcraftdisplay.com. Electricity will be handled by the Lansing Center, and the appropriate forms will be included in your Art Craft Display exhibitor kit.

Bronze Level

Bronze level sponsors will receive corporate name recognition on all appropriate printed material associated with the event, including newsletter features; professional signage placed throughout all areas occupied by attendees; recognition of your organization during opening and closing remarks; recognition noting your company’s sponsorship on all company representatives’ name badges; a commemorative award given to your company at the event; signage in your company’s booth noting level of sponsorship; mailing labels of all conference attendees and a copy of the HPS membership directory, upon request.

The conference agenda is a complete guide to the 30th annual HPS conference and trade show. It contains a schedule of the day’s events, maps of the exhibit halls and Lansing Center, information about continuing education units, listings of both exhibitors and attendees, keynote speaker bios, and summaries of all educational seminars and locations. Received by each attendee in their conference tote, it is an invaluable source that is referred to throughout the day. Tote Bag Inserts

$50 per submission

Include your company’s flier in the official conference tote bags, distributed to each attendee upon registration. Whether you want to announce a new product or promote a best-seller, fliers are an inexpensive way to create awareness about your company. This is a great way to drive attendees to seek out your booth!


Submission Guidelines: Each company is responsible for submitting 600 copies of their promotional flier. The fliers should be one page only and be no larger than 8.5” x 11” in size (bi-fold or tri-fold brochures will be accepted). All featured products or services must be available to the HPS membership in a manner that does not conflict in any way with the HPS program. Any fliers not inserted into tote bags will be returned to the exhibitor at the show. For approval, please submit one flier via mail, fax or e-mail prior to sending the total number of copies.

Accommodations

Radisson Hotel Lansing

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Radisson Hotel Lansing at a nightly rate of $129. The Radisson is attached via walkway to the Lansing Center, so space is limited. To make a reservation, please call the hotel directly, (517) 482-0188, and mention the HPS block of rooms. Prices do not include applicable state and local taxes.
